Special-shaped steel structure construction method:

1. The ratio of the height of the limbs of the special-shaped column to the thickness of the limbs should not be greater than 4, the thickness of the limbs should not be less than 200mm, and the height of the limbs should not be less than 500mm.

2. The height Hb of the frame beam section can be determined by (1/10~1/15) L b (Lb is the calculated span), and should not be less than 400mm. The beam width Bb of the beam should not be less than 1/4Hb and 200mm.

3. The concrete strength grade of the special-shaped column is not lower than C25 and not higher than C50. This is because the cross-sectional dimension of the special-shaped column is thin, the special-shaped steel structure is made, and if the concrete strength grade is less than C25, it may not be able to meet the requirements of ensuring the combination with the steel bar. There are relatively few studies on the special-shaped column members and structures of C50 strength grade, and they are not enough to form the basis of rule-making. 4. The position of the longitudinal steel bars on the special-shaped column section is shown in the figure below. Experiments and simulation calculations show that the longitudinal ribs at these positions play a great role, especially when the axial pressure is large, the longitudinal ribs at the corners of each limb cannot be ignored, and laser cutting must be treated as a force rib.

5. The height of the structural section of the special-shaped steel beam should not be less than 400mm.
